Loving the Look of Feathers

Peacock Feathers Iron close upFrom spring through summer, I keep coming back to using feathers in the images I create for my switchplate designs.

The plate above is my latest –  Forest of Feathers. I love the rectangular abalone shell cabochons in the four corners. And I confess that had to make a rocker plate in this design for my spa bathroom.

While Forest of Feathers has a mind expanding and uplifting feel,  Shades of Gray Feathers is a moodier image – gothic, with a touch of dark and stormy.

And somewhere in between, the rich autumnal golden tones of Down Under Feathers .
